The day I officially let myself get swept up in the Christmas spirit. Christmas is absolutely my favourite time of the year. I love driving around at night and seeing all the houses lit up by Christmas lights. I like Christmas shopping (which I do most of) - I love finding the perfect gift for someone and then watching their delight once they've unwrapped it. Admittedly, I also have a tiny crush on Santa as well (who doesn't like a jolly man who brings you gifts and only expects cookies and milk in return?) And for the rest of the month, I actually don't mind the cold and the snow (not that we have any yet).
There is just something so special about this time of year. Everyone seems a little nicer, a little happier. So it shouldn't be surprising to you that I also really like Christmas music! This one by Nat King Cole is one of my favourites - basically everything he sings about in this song are also the things I love about Christmas. I'd never actually seen this video until now (my how things have changed in the past few decades when it comes to music videos). Hope this song helps you get into the Christmas spirit.
